Doris was instrumental in the formation of the Rocky Top Chapter, TN-1, having moved to Knoxville from her native New York. She is also a member of NY-2 where she held all offices in the Chapter.
She is a life member of WMA, a Viet Nam era veteran and a recipeint of WMA's highest honor, the National Service Award. She has served the association in many capacities: Section Editor for the "Scuttlebutt", member of Merchandise Sales Committee, Public Relations Committee, Finance Committee. She has served as Chairman of the Convention Coordinating Committee, Co-chairman of the 30th Anniversary Convention in Denver, CO.
She has held the office of Third Vice President, Area Director, Second Vice President, First Vice President, National Secretary and President of the Women Marines Association.
Doris is retired from JP Morgan and currently works for the Knoxville School System.
